Cookie Policy

Here we explain exactly what cookies we use at Elevate Links and why. Spoiler: only the minimum required for login to work and for analytics to be fair.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. They are used to remember information between pages (such as the fact that you are already signed in) or to measure how many people visit a site without having to identify them.

Strictly necessary cookies

These are essential for the service to work. They do not require your consent because without them Elevate Links simply could not operate.

  • Supabase Auth session (sb-*): keeps your session signed in so you do not need to enter your password on every page.
  • Language (el_lang): remembers the language you chose for the interface.
  • Anonymous visitor (el_anon_id, 2 years): a random identifier without any personal information that lets us deduplicate visits in the analytics (so we do not count the same person multiple times). It is not linked to any account or to personal data.

Analytics cookies (first-party)

We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party analytics tool. The metrics you see in your dashboard (views, clicks, traffic sources) are calculated using an aggregated, anonymous count from our own servers, with no additional tracking cookies beyond those mentioned in the previous section.

Advertising and conversion tracking (Meta Pixel)

We use the Meta Pixel (also known as Facebook Pixel) on the public-facing pages of elevatelinks.app to measure the effectiveness of our ad campaigns. The pixel sets cookies in your browser when you visit the site and sends Meta information about the pages you view and certain conversion events (such as completing a registration or upgrading a plan).

We use this information to optimize our advertising, build similar audiences and measure return on ad spend. You can opt out by:

Third-party cookies (optional)

Elevate Links does not set any third-party cookies by default. They only appear if you, as the page owner, connect external integrations from your dashboard (for example, Mailchimp to capture subscribers, or Facebook and Instagram widgets).

In that case, the cookies set by those services are governed by the privacy and cookie policies of Meta, Google, Mailchimp, or the corresponding provider. We recommend reviewing them if you enable one of these integrations.

How to manage cookies

You can view, block, or delete cookies at any time from your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies.
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy.
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security.
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.

Note: if you block the strictly necessary cookies, login will stop working and you will not be able to access your Elevate Links dashboard.
